Alix Frangeul-Alves is a Program Manager on GMF's Strategic Foresight team. Based in Paris, she supports the program's core activities, from planning flagship initiatives like the Transatlantic Security Task Force scenario exercises to coordinating research and convening on the future of transatlantic relations and European strategic affairs. Alix is particularly interested in the effects of US domestic politics on its foreign policy and on Europe.
She was a Young Security Conference Fellow in 2025-2026, focusing on the future of European security. Alix holds a master's degree from the French Institute of Geopolitics. Her two master's theses examined the geopolitical stakes of the United Kingdom's energy transition and the role of American natural gas in transatlantic cooperation amid the war in Ukraine. She speaks English, French, Italian, and Portuguese.
