Voice of the Flank Security Forum

The Voice of the Flank Security Forum on November 3, 2015 preceded the meeting of the Eastern Flank countries hosted by the Presidents of Romania and Poland. The Forum focused on the challenges the countries on the Alliance’s Eastern Flank face, and their impact on the Alliance as a whole. Topics of discussion included collective action against hybrid warfare, balancing the threats to the Alliance from the East and from the South, and maintaining security while avoiding an arms race on the Baltic Sea-Black Sea axis. The project allowed for a free and engaging exchange between officials and independent experts from the countries on the Eastern Flank, the United States, Germany and France.
