Nigina Malikova Valentini is a former Associate Director, Assessment, Monitoring & Evaluation at GMF.
Elizabeth Boswell Rega leads GMF's messaging, mainstream and social media, and editorial strategies as managing director of communications. She previously held multiple communications roles at GMF between 2006 and 2015. In the interim, she worked at pharmaceutical giant GSK as communications and government affairs lead, responsible for 168 markets. Her portfolio there comprised public health issues such as pharmaceutical and vaccine supplies.
Boswell Rega also served as manager of public relations for Europe at UPS. Prior to that she worked for 15 years as a journalist in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.
Juliette Maresté is a former Program Assistant at GMF.
Peter Benzoni is the senior investigative research officer on the Alliance for Securing Democracy at GMF‘s information manipulation team, where he manages ASD's data-driven tools, develops new methodologies to combat information threats, and conducts open-source investigations.
Peter most recently was a data analyst with Atlas Public Policy, where he was involved in the development of many of ASD’s tools—most notably, the Hamilton dashboard. Prior to his work at Atlas, Peter spent time as a cybersecurity associate with the US Department of Energy and as a development consultant with Accenture. He holds a B.S. in computer engineering and a B.A. in political science and international studies from Iowa State University.
Joanna Krawczyk is a former Deputy Managing Director, GMF East & Deputy Regional Director, Poland at GMF.
Clara Volintiru is the Black Sea Regional Director based in Bucharest.
Bridget Corna is a former Senior Digital Producer at GMF.
Alex Penler is a former Digital Communications Manager at GMF.
Joshua Stone is a senior program coordinator for the GMF Indo-Pacific Program. Based in Washington, his portfolio encompasses Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. He manages the Japan Trilateral Forum, Korea Trilateral Forum, and the Taiwan-US Policy Program, among other programs and projects.
Prior to joining GMF, Joshua worked as a senior researcher at the defense section of the Embassy of Japan in the United States, supporting US-Japan defense coordination and cooperation. Previously, he worked as an open-source intelligence analyst contracted with the US Department of Defense and as a program coordinator with the Japan Desk at the Department of State. In 2023, he was a nuclear public policy fellow with the Nonproliferation Policy Education Center.
Joshua received his bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia and has studied abroad at Yonsei University and Doshisha University. He is a heritage Korean speaker, fluent in Japanese, and a student of Mandarin Chinese.
