A World Divided: Global Perspectives and the Path to Peace in Ukraine

About this event
As the Ukraine conflict continues to evolve, public opinion across nations reveals a complex landscape. In the United Kingdom, there is persistent concern and support for aid, but views on the war’s eventual outcome remain divided. In the United States, most Americans support Ukraine but concerns about the financial feasibility of military intervention and distrust in leadership loom large. Despite the ongoing challenges, Ukrainians maintain optimism about victory, with high approval for President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and a preference for postponing elections until the war concludes.
As attention shifts toward a potential just and lasting peace, the question arises: What additional support can the West provide to Ukraine, especially in terms of soldier and veteran reintegration, and other vital areas for the country’s reconstruction?
The event will explore the complex challenges associated with providing effective reintegration support to Ukrainian veterans, and examine the broader implications of the war’s outcome and the pivotal role international assistance will play in Ukraine’s reconstruction.
Please join us for this timely and insightful discussion. A reception will be held immediately following the event. For more information or if you require special assistance, please contact Ty Melnick at [email protected].
