GMF is convening a series of informal conversations to better understand the urgent challenges related to the future of transatlantic economic competitiveness and the need to identify a shared path toward a modern or allied industrial policy. These conversations explore three central themes:

  • the foundational elements of a modern or allied industrial policy and identification of opportunities for greater transatlantic policy alignment
  • managing transatlantic economic competition in a period of accelerated economic de-risking and diversification
  • identifying potentially forthcoming or early-stage transatlantic legislative and executive actions that could impede allied economic approaches
