Thinking Across Latitudes
Global challenges require global responses. From energy transformation to the future of work and connectivity policies, the Thinking Across Latitudes project explores "inter-mestic" challenges that require cooperation between the two shores of the Mediterranean, as well as both sides of the Atlantic.Global challenges—including pandemics, climate change, digital governance, and migration—require global responses. The German Marshall Fund (GMF) explores “inter-mestic” issues that require cooperation between the two shores of the Mediterranean and both sides of the Atlantic. Grounded in GMF’s innovative approach to transatlantic relations and challenging traditional “mental maps” by including Southern voices in the transatlantic debate, GMF’s Thinking Across Latitudes project looks at the impact of global processes of change on Mediterranean and Atlantic societies. From energy transformation to global tax regimes, from the future of work to connectivity policies, this project explores fresh social and economic thinking with a North-South dimension.
