Russia Warns Europe of Confrontation in INF Dispute

Defense experts in Brussels see three scenarios after the recent exchange of blows: First, Europe could agree to the deployment of U.S. medium-range missiles, which would entail the risk of an arms race, said Bruno Lete of the German Marshall Fund. Second, Europe could refuse to accept this request from the United States. Third, some European states could agree to new missiles, but others could reject them, which would threaten NATO's unity.
