GMF is proud to announce the recent accomplishments and contributions of our distinguished alumni.

Karlheinz Blessing (MMF ’85), has been appointed Member of the Board of Management with responsibility for Human Resources and Organization at Volkswagen.  Dr. Blessing formerly served as CEO of Dillinger Hüttenwerke.

Edita Hrda (MMF ’95), formerly the Czech Ambassador to the United Nations, has become Managing Director of Americas of the European External Action Service (EEAS).

Victor Hwang (MMF ’08) has been appointed vice president of entrepreneurship at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.  Prior to this appointment, Hwang was co-founder and CEO of Liquidity, a Silicon Valley-based venture-backed nanotech firm.

Jiří Šitler (MMF ’95), formerly Special Envoy for Holocaust Issues and Combating Antisemitism for the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has been appointed Czech Ambassador to Sweden.
