German Chancellor Angela Merkel suffered a setback in the country's regional elections Sunday. The far-right Alternative for Germany party gained seats in a vote widely seen as a referendum on Merkel and her policy on migrants. NPR's Ari Shapiro speaks with Daniela Schwarzer, an analyst with the German Marshall Fund, about the results.
