As the world moves beyond an easy division between the online and off, the danger posed by disinformation continues to grow. Critical conversations around elections, security, climate, and public health are being undermined by malicious actors and misinformed audiences. This panel examines interventions that governments and civil society on both sides of the Atlantic can pursue that will allow trustworthy information to flourish, ensure democratic debate and electoral processes are secure, and actively dampen the spread of disinformation.
