GMF’s Sarah Halls met with Katherine Richardson, professor and leader of the Sustainability Science Centre at the University of Copenhagen to discuss energy security in Denmark. Richardson spoke about the significance of energy security in the country, due to the oil crisis in the 1970s, the importance of public acceptance in making energy decisions, as well as the need to maximize energy security in the face of a rapidly-growing world population.
