Democrats and Republicans will have their national party conventions this month to officially nominate their presidential candidates. Conventions traditionally offer an opportunity to motivate the party base and define political agendas to shape the final phase of the election campaign. Circumstances are very different this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Our expert speakers will discuss the significance and particularities of this year’s conventions and provide historical context as well as offer their analysis on the state of the race to the White House.
