On June 5-6, the heads-of-state from 12 European Union member countries located along the Adriatic, Baltic, and Black Seas will meet in Ljubljana, Slovenia for the next summit of the Three Seas Initiative. Launched in 2015, this group provides a flexible political platform to boost regional cooperation in the fields of infrastructure, energy, transport, trade, telecommunications, and digital technology.

Ahead of the summit, The German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) and the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM) are pleased to invite you to a discussion to unpack how the public and private sector can boost Central Europe’s competitiveness in business, investment, and infrastructure and foster cohesion between EU member states. Moreover, it will explore U.S. stakes in Central and Eastern Europe and discuss how the United States can work alongside Three Seas countries to advance its goals in the region.
