About this event
At this time of heightened awareness around discriminatory behavior toward people of marginalized communities, governments on both sides of the Atlantic are establishing initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion. What is currently being done to develop, manage, and support data-based diversity and inclusion strategies? What partnerships are possible between the public, private, and civil society sectors? What are some of the similarities and differences we can see when it comes to racialized communities? Where are the major hurdles on both sides of the Atlantic? To facilitate transatlantic exchange and address these important questions on how the US government and the European Union are raising awareness about anti-discrimination, GMF, in cooperation with the United States Mission to the European Union, will convene a discussion between the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer in the Biden administration and the first Anti-Racism Coordinator at the European Commission.
