On March 23, Dr. Dr. Ezekiel J. Emanuel outlined in The New York Times five actions the U.S. needs to take against the coronavirus in the subsequent 14 days.

Two weeks later, Dr. Emanuel took stock of successes and failures in the U.S. response to the coronavirus, and put forward suggestions for next steps in a virtual discussion with Michael Horowitz, Interim Director of Perry World House, and Karen Donfried, President of GMF.
