NATO’s Future Adaptation: Priorities for the New Strategic Concept

About this event
NATO will adopt its new Strategic Concept at the 2022 Madrid Summit. It will define the security challenges facing the alliance and outline the political and military tasks NATO will carry out to address them. NATO will be required to multitask, dealing both with traditional military threats but also with modern challenges such as cyber security and climate change. In this light, it is equally critical that NATO identify the resources and capabilities needed to implement the strategy and meet future threats. Which security challenges will define the next decade? How should the alliance adapt to today’s shifting world order? Please join us for a conversation about NATO’s Strategic Concept and futureproofing the alliance.
