The German Marshall Fund of the United States is pleased to invite you to a briefing on challenges to Georgia's political, electoral, and economic reform efforts. The discussion will also focus on Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic track and how the current political impasse in Tbilisi connected to the 2020 parliamentary elections could impact economic, democratic, and security progress with NATO and the EU. Joining us from Tbilisi will be several Georgian civil society leaders including: Ekaterine Metreveli, president of the Rondeli Foundation; Mikheil Benidze, executive director of the International Society for Fair Elections; and Eka Gigauri and Giorgi Oniani, executive director and deputy executive director for Democracy and Transparency International Georgia. We look forward to your participation and discussion on the future of democracy in Georgia from the perspective of civil society.
