Since the nomination of Donald Trump as the Republican presidential candidate in 2016 the Republican party has undergone a significant transformation. While there has been some dissent against the president, the GOP has largely rallied around its unconventional leader renarrating what it means to be a Republican. Where does the party go in the next four years and beyond? Will Trumpism outlive Trump or will we see a reckoning within the party and a new, more traditionally Republican leadership emerge? What will the Republican party look like on election day in 2024? Please join us for a lively discussion with Republican U.S. member of Congress from Texas Will Hurd.
