After an initial unilateral response to the coronavirus pandemic which saw varying national and regional approaches produce varying results, it has become clear that transatlantic cooperation is a must to successfully fight the coronavirus and any future pandemics. The United States and Europe need to coordinate their collective scientific and medical resources and draw on the resources of the private sector to ensure a robust pandemic response. Please join us for a conversation with experts from both side of the Atlantic as we discuss how the transatlantic community can cooperate on everything from medical research and development to organization of supply chains that deliver PPE, treatments, and now, a vaccine.
