In her mission letter to Executive Vice President-Designate Margrethe Vestager, European Commission President-elect Ursula von der Leyen stressed the need to strengthen the EU’s industry and innovation capacity as well as its technological leadership and strategic autonomy.  What will a “Europe fit for the Digital Age” entail?  What will the competition priorities be? What will the Digital Services Act encompass?  And what will these changes mean for the transatlantic relationship?
