As chief of executive staff to Minister of Defense Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer, Lange is positioned to address the current state and future direction of Germany’s defense policy and its implications for transatlantic security. This conversation will evaluate European security priorities, German-French cooperation, and the U.S.-German security partnership. Moreover, Lange will provide insight into Germany’s domestic agenda and the future direction of his party, the Christian Democratic Union (CDU).
