The Frontlines of Democracy Initiative of the German Marshall Fund of the United States is pleased to invite you to a roundtable discussion with Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani. The Foreign Minister will focus on U.S.-Georgia relations, provide an update on Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic track, regional challenges, including Russia, and the future of democratic and other key reforms in Georgia. This is a critical year for Georgia and its Euro-Atlantic future as parliamentary elections are scheduled to take place by October 2020. The United States, Europe, and other partners of Georgia are increasingly concerned and focused on these elections. Recent decisions by the Georgian government will greatly influence Georgia's democratic path and relationship with the West. The discussion will take place off the record.

If you have any questions, please contact John Alexander at +1 202 683 2608 or [email protected].

Please note that this event is invitation-only. The discussion will be off the record.
