The United States and European Union have each taken big steps forward on cybersecurity policy in recent months: Europe has a new cybersecurity strategy, and a defense bill passed by the U.S. Congress in December implements many recommendations of the Cyberspace Solarium Commission. What role does the private sector play in identifying and defending against new cyber threats?
