The coronavirus pandemic has highlighted the need to strengthen our national resilience—we must be ready to withstand not just to health threats, but cyber attacks, as well. In its report released in March, the Cyberspace Solarium Commission included a series of recommendations focused on cyber resilience, and in light of the urgency demonstrated by the pandemic, the Commission will release a new annex (forthcoming) which will emphasize this issue.
Two Solarium Commissioners will discuss the Commission’s work on resilience and will engage in a broader conversation putting that work in an international context, looking at the role of allies in protecting shared infrastructure and working collaboratively to develop resilience strategies.
