Brussels Forum's Young Professionals Summit 2021
Call for Applications
The German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) is pleased to announce that the call for applications for the Brussels Forum Young Professionals Summit (YPS) is now open. Given restrictions for travel and in-person convening, this year’s YPS will take place in an interactive, virtual format.
YPS is an annual flagship event hosted by The German Marshall Fund of the United States that connects the next generation of leaders with influential politicians, thinkers, journalists, and business representatives to discuss pressing policy challenges for the transatlantic community. YPS fosters dialogue, leadership training, and peer-to-peer learning through a tailor-made program for rising leaders and provides access to the larger Brussels Forum.
In-depth virtual YPS programming will take place June 7-11, 2021. YPS participants will also join GMF’s Brussels Forum and get the opportunity to participate in public and private virtual sessions that will take place June 14-18. A more detailed agenda will be shared in the run-up to the virtual summit.
The German Marshall Fund accepted applications until April 4, 2021.
The summit convenes professionals from all sectors, age 37 and under, who have demonstrated:
• Leadership capacity in their community or profession
• Interest in policy issues affecting transatlantic relations
• Intellectual curiosity
• Professional growth
• A commitment to transatlantic and global engagement
